Artist's Comments
This is the exam piece I've been working on at college for the past 2 days. I prepared a little beforehand, and then took almost the full 8 hours you're allowed to put it all together and finish it off. I'd imagine I spent about 10-11 hours on it in total.
Its basically 2 travel brochure cover illustrations that merge together at the edges, so they would give a complete spread when aligned together. I only had time to do 2 of the 5 continents ^^.
The split would be just to the left of the sphinx if printed individually.
The main analsysis piece I chose for the project was Moodswings' Tigerheart, so obviously there is a certain resemblance with the style. The style is harder to do than it looks! honest!
Finally able to make something thats of a decent print size! This was done on A3 @ 300dpi, and it looks great stuck on my bedroom wall
Grade A please?
